Title: How to change the configuration of EmissionInsight to match EM-200E configuration
1.0 and higher
The EM-200 E comes with 3 different language configurations, 2 of which are supported by EmissionInsight. Depending on the configuration of the device, will determine how the emission testing is completed.
The first supported setting on the EM-200E is: English Pre/Post. The second supported language setting is: English Idle-Load. To determine what the language settings are on your EM-200E please check under Settings>Language.
Depending on your language settings and your companies policies/procedures or mandates are, will determine what configuration you should be using with your installation of EmissionInsight.
Once you have determined the requirements for storing tests you can then proceed to configure how EmissionInsight will go about storing and displaying test results.
To change the configuration of EmissionInsight, in the installation directory, there will be a file called EmissionInsight.exe.config Opening this file in note pad or word pad, you will see the following:
<add key=”EmployeeFile” value=”employee.csv”/>
<add key=”EquipmentFile” value=”equipment.csv”/>
<add key=”WarningThresholdFile” value=”warningThreshold.csv”/>
<add key=”DataSourceName” value=”database.db”/>
<add key=”ResultFolder” value=”transfer”/>
<add key=”EM200Executable” value=”.\Exchange_e.exe”/>
<!–Test1, Test2, Test3, Test1AndTest2, Test1AndTest3, Test2AndTest3, All–>
<add key=”ResultSetOption” value=”Test2″/>
<add key=”Test1Alias” value=”Speed_pre,CO_pre,NO_pre,NO2_pre,NOx_pre”/>
<add key=”Test2Alias” value=”Speed,CO,NO,NO2,NOx”/>
<add key=”Test3Alias” value=”Speed,CO,NO,NO2,NOx”/>
The bolded section determines what will be displayed for results. Test1 is corresponding to Idle (or Pre), Test2 is corresponding to High Idle (or Post), Test3 is corresponding to Load. Any combinations of the three are supported. The available configuration options are listed in the line above.
